This project was the first to be completed.
The generator was inspired by the projects of Hught Piggot and was salvaged from a direct current motor with a disc rotor, used in machine tools as a servomotor.
The motor had permanent magnets on the stator, with 10 cylindrical magnets on each cap, which took on the role of rotor in the case of the wind generator.
The new stator was designed based on the geometry of the existing rotor. Thus, a single-phase winding consisting of 10 coils was chosen. Due to weak induction, it was necessary to create two stators.
The first was made with CuEm conductor of 1.5 mm in diameter, with each coil having approximately 50 turns.
The second stator was made with CuEm of 1 mm in diameter, with each coil having 100 turns.
